I just reloaded a clean install of XP home on an old hand-me-dowm pc. When I try to install the Adobe flash player I keep getting a message saying the download manager had trouble and can not install the player. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks for the advice, sir. But I finally got it fixed late last night! Woo Hoo!

I used this page and followed the instructions  https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Then I went here and use the FireFox NPAPI  at the bottom of the page. https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html

So you can mark this thread as FIXED!!!
