Hello everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me. I am currently running an L521X Dell XPS with windows 10 64 bit.

Recently I've had to wipe the computer and reinstall windows. I installed first the Windows 7 then updated for free to Windows 10.

However on startup I now have this....

Aany suggestions would be appreciated.

Is the computer working properly?

I would presume that, if you leave it along, the screen will go away when the system continues to boot.  Is this correct?

If it's not causing problems, then I'd suggest "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Although I'm concerned about some of the settings on the screen, I'm not familiar enough with RAID implementations to tell what's going on here.

I'll try a bit of research today to see what I can find out (I go to work in an hour).

The most drastic thing I can suggest at this time is:

- reset the BIOS to default values

- install W10 with only 1 hard drive installed (I suspect that the one you'd choose would be the 120gB SSD ) - use the W10 Media Creation tool here:  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/

- once Windows is up and running, then turn the system off and connect the 2nd HDD

From what I've found, the system likely had someone setup the RAID array.

Beyond that, I don't know much else.

Try posting over in the Internal Hardware forums to see if there's more help there:    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/7/internal-hardware/
