Win 10 v Win 7 Compatibility

If I upgrade my Win 7 machine to Win 10 will I have issues with my Win 7 programs?

Most likely not.  I have yet to have any program from the Windows 7 era not function perfectly.  That being said, there have got to be a couple of "odd birds" out there that might not.


I do know of some people who've had installed programs not carried over because their developers did not update them such that the Windows 10 upgrade process could recognize them as compatible.  In virtually all of those cases, a simple reinstall under Windows 10 had the program working perfectly.
