Hey Everyone,

Alright heres the situation, I am currently a student who does a ton of researching and writing.

I am looking for a setup that I can run dual monitor on (word on one screen, internet on the other).

Does anyone have suggestions from eBay, ibuypower, newegg, etc? I don't game, I just need a solid system that I can run word and explorer.

Edit: Moved topic from General Chat to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Heh with your minimal needs even a pocket calculator will do.

Forget ibuypower they make gaming machines and are way overpriced.

Also dual screens are not that needed unless you are on a high end gaming machine and need multi tasking,

Windows versions past windows Vista have the ability to have two windows open on the same screen and occupy the same space, its called split screen.

http://learningtechnology.bathspa.ac.uk/2013/05/how-to-split-screen-using-windows-7.html

Windows 7, 8 and 10 has this plus windows 10 offers virtual desktops a feature other OS's had for a long time now.

And internet Explorer, what was the last time you used a computer 1997? :D

Almost any system with dual video outputs is enough for that. So it's just matter of budget.

I want a dual screen because it increases efficiency. I currently have a macbook pro and its sooooo slow because of all my school documents (It's amazing what college does to a computer).

Can anyone help me with a computer setup? Ie; a website with a out of the box computer that will work

The reviews for that computer are shabby at best, lots of complaints about the computer not working out of the box. Any other suggestions?
