Hello,

I am able to download and play the following swf file

http://fireworks.abeall.com/extensions/autoshapes/Arc/Arc.swf

I am able to download the following swf file but it wouldn't play - showing black screen. I am using Adobe Flash Player 11.2.

http://content.screencast.com/users/abeall/folders/Jing/media/d77ebe35-6b4e-4d6a-a4bf-56bf447281e2/jingswfplayer.swf

Any advice is appreciated.

I am able to play Arc.swf with Windows Media Player but not VLC. jingswfplayer.swf wouldn't play in any player including Adobe Flash Player. I just looked at the size of both files: Arc.swf 2.66 MB and jingswfplayer.swf 17.3 KB however its a longer video. It doesn't make sense. My guess is that jingswfplayer.swf isn't fully downloading for some reason - that might be the reason why I am seeing the black screen in Adobe Flash Player.

What are you talking about try reinstalling vlc media player (Notice : Old version of vlc does not support .swf.) Try out the vlc media player 2.1.3 it will support all file i'm also using this. Download from http://filehippo.com/download_vlc_media_player/56851/

It means that the file is corrupt or not fully downloaded. Well look once what is the size of that video which do not run.
