I borrowed the following from another thread:

...Emsisoft products were originally designed to complement antivirus and firewall software. Today this is no longer the case, with Emsisoft now providing a full replacement for any antivirus and/or firewall software. As such, some of Emsisoft's protection modules are not compatible with other antivirus software. Emsisoft Anti-Malware is a complete anti-malware and anti-virus solution and offers solid protection...

Back then, there was a menu, I think within Protection/Behavior Blocker, of numerous behavior clicks.

Is that menu gone?  I can't seem to find it anymore.  I can reach Behavior Blocker, but there are no more numerous clicks - unless it got moved?

What do you mean with "behavior clicks"?

About half-way down, the article author writes:

I decided to check some key features mentioned above such as ‘Behavior Blocker’, which allows detecting harmful actions that are run on your system. You can specify in detail the behavior you would like to allow or block for specific programs. For example, you can allow the program to allow installing services and drivers, change browser settings but block unwanted or harmful activities such as spyware or wormlike activity. Honestly, I found this small link extremely useful as this is what allowed me to fine tune the program and use it as per my convenience. The tool also allows you to choose a Security Mode that meet your security requirements best.

In my latest version, I cannot find the above menu.

It's under the Protection tab, and Application Rules. From there, click on Add new rules and you'll get that interface.

Thanks Aura!  I remember now the earlier menu [pictured in my 2nd post] was replaced by the present menu [pictured in your post].  Well, I much prefer having the old menu rather than the new one  :)

Application Rules are essentially there for Custom Monitoring. Most users can leave the default settings and just let the behavior blocker do it's thing.

About Emsisoft’s Behavior Blocker

Once you have installed the software, please ensure that the guard is up and running and then run any programs you use frequently to avoid potential false alerts in future. This will only take a few minutes, and Emsisoft’s Behavior Blocker will then be set up optimally for your PC.
