Has anyone else had this problem?  I push the Fn key and push the Prnt Scrn button, but all of a sudden, it stopped working.  Anyone have a fix for this?  I have a Dell inspiron laptop.  Thanks, in advance...

I am not sure why your fn prnt screen is not working. As a temporary solution type Snip in the search box and run the snipping tool. It will give an option to use a freerform, rectangular, window, or full screen snip.

Edit: After pressing fn + print screen I assume you then try to paste in paint, correct?

Do any of the other function keys work?

It may be a hardware problem or a Windows problem. If you have a spare keyboard attach it to the laptop and use the print screen key on the keyboard to see if you can do a screenshot. What is the normal function of the key used for print screen, home? Type a line of text in a text document then press the home key. It should take the cursor to the beginning of the line. If not then it's a key problem.

If this is a recent problem you can do a System Restore to a date before the problem but any files added to the desktop after the Restore Date would need to be moved to my documents and any programs installed would need to be reinstalled.

Some Dell computers have a driver for their functions keys. Check the Dell support site using the service tag on the bottom of the laptop. Check for any driver for your function keys. Outside of the above suggestions I don't have any ideas as to why the key is not working.

Thank you for your suggestions.  the key is an "end" key and the "end" key works.  Just the print screen button doesn't work.  I'll wait and see what other people say.  Thank you for your time.
