My mouse pointer turns into a busy pointer & I can't click the upper top part of the screen (desktop),I remember having to Sys Restore twice or thrice because of a nasty virus I had received from a Services-restore app that pretended to be useful software.Anyway the virus ran Windows Background Tasks or somethinghow do I fix this?Luckily I had a Recovery point from before I installed DX 11.Similar to this http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/577202/spinning-blue-circle-desktop-pointer-windows-81-pro/ only Windows Update is turned off & I checked Schedule Tasks but nothing.Btw this is the post /w a link to the virus: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/614094/infected-by-services-reset-no-startups-lengthy-shutdownrestarts/

Spy++ (Find Window Tool) seemed to do the trick! It was a Window alright.I couldn't find a way to kill it--pslist said Performance Counters were disabled.Anyway I will try another virus scan (though this is stealth) & sfc /scannow (though I doubt it'll work.Anyway it's an obj_form Window & I'm positive it was the virus that infected me from Youtube (I have a link to it!) **Hah! It wasn't a virus,it was PASTARTER.exe (Power Archiver 2010),I have it disabled from Start-up now,so that takes care of things! Also explains why a virus scan didn't detect anything.Anyhow,I don't see why Power Archiver '10 needs a Auto-run.I used: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/22429/Windows-Service-which-Kills-Unwanted-Windows http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/344488/Process-Kill http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/9110/Inside-Windows-Handles http://suprvillain.deviantart.com/art/Windows-xKill-100737525 http://windows.xkill.free.fr/download.html http://superuser.com/questions/66176/kill-window-or-application-just-like-linux-do (From these X-kill seemed to work best & give me a complete info on the Process owned by the blank hidden window.)Also disabled CCleaner monitoring,so now the computer uses less resources & overhead.
