I've been having glitchy/laggy performance lately and decided to do a complete reinstall. Everything went fine until, during the setup, when I was in "getting updates" the process just completely stalled at 11% and stopped downloading.

Advice?

How long did it stall before you gave up?

Could there have been a networking problem in your area?

What did you use to "complete reinstall" Windows 10?

What OS did the system have originally?

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Advice?

Looks like you are upgrading to Windows 10 as if you were to clean install Windows 10 there is no need for Windows 10 to download updates it only does this when upgrading.
