Hi there! I'm new here, and I found this forum while searching for laptop advice. I need to buy a new laptop ASAP, but I really don't know what's good and what's not (I'm kind of a noob at computers), so I'd appreciate some help from you guys if possible. I'll provide as much information as possible.

Laptop or Desktop?
Laptop

My budget for the new computer is:

900-1,500€.

What are the primary uses for this computer (IE: mail, web browsing, programming, games, etc)?

General use and watching movies in HD, but I also play games. I want new games to run at high settings, and I if possible I'd want to be able to run games that come out in 4-5 years time at mid-average settings.

What software do you intend on using on the computer?
Office, web browser, movie+music program (VLC, iTunes, etc... nothing too fancy). And games.

Do you play games? If so, what type of games?

Football Manager and FIFA would be my most played games. Also games along the lines of Fallout, Uncharted, Shenmue 3, etc. I might go back to LoL, which I dropped over a year ago, tired of playing at 5-20 fps. I also play old school stuff, from the 80s-90s.... but I guess that won't be a problem :P

Do you tend to have a lot of programs running at the same time, or do you close every program when you are done using it?

I want to be able to run several stuff at the same time. I figured I should go for 16GB RAM.

Do you store a lot of pictures or music on the computer?
Yeah, but I have an external 2TB HD, so storage won't be an issue as I can dump stuff there when needed.

Will you be overclocking?
Nope

Location for online shopping/shipment/prices?
I live in Spain, but I guess I can have the laptop shipped from elsewhere.

How many monitors are you planning to use?
1

Do you need peripherals? OS?
Need at least 3 USB ports (mouse, external hard drive and gaming controller). Windows 10

Any particular reason why you are upgrading?

My current laptop isn't good enough. It's 5 years old and was already a bit subpar back then. It can't run 1080 movies properly, and struggles to run modern games even at the lowest settings. I was going to wait until after the summer to upgrade it, but Windows recently forced W10 on me, and this has pretty much killed my computer.... everything is really slow now, and I can't watch movies or watch Youtube videos properly because the system is to busy keeping th OS working. So I figured I'd upgrade it now instead of rollbacking.

Another important detail is that I'm looking for the longest lifespan possible. I don't mind lowering game settings in 4-5 years time, as long as the computer can still function properly for a couple more years.

I have found some laptops. But, since I'm a noob at this, I don't know which one (if any) suits my needs. Would appreciate it if someone helped me choose one or suggest another one.

These are the laptops I found (the website is in spanish, but I will post the info in english):

Thanks!
