This is the laptop im getting my cousin for his birthday:

Refurbished: HP EliteBook 2540p - Intel Core i5 2.4GHz - 8GB ram

Laptop accepts 2.5 inch SATA drives so that should be compatible. However that SSD is much better http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148948
