Hi Guys,

A new extention of Ransomware infected files is .canihelpyou. Lots of computer in my lab have been infected.

And it seems no solution until now.

The message from //id-ransomware.malwarehunterteam.com/ says the computer is infected by Samas.

Correct, it is a new variant discovered a week or so ago I believe. ID Ransomware will also give you a link to the appropriate support topic for more information.

Samas (aka Sam, SamSam) cannot be decrypted. Your network was most likely manually hacked by exploits on your server, and the criminals moved laterally across the network.

Rather than have everyone with individual topics, it would be best (and more manageable for staff) if you posted any more questions, comments or requests for assistance in the above support topic discussion. To avoid unnecessary confusion, this topic is closed.

Thanks
