CPU for RX480

I know skylake is ideal. But would a non k i5 from the 1150 socket work just fine with the new upcoming rx480 Polaris gpu? Gaming in only 1080p, all types of games.

Yes but as LGA1150 is obsolete socket, buy LGA1151 parts if buying new stuff. If used AND very cheap, LGA1150 parts might be decent alternative.

Understood, just wondering to save some money before i jump to skylake. Ill have some fun with the rx480 then when i get the $ ill go to 1151. Thank you :)
