Has anyone tried to download and install Malwarebytes Home Free edition today? Having an odd problem where it gets to the point where it's supposed to begin installing it and then it just freezes and becomes unresponsive and I have to use task manager to close it. I've tried this on two different computers and it does the same thing.

Never mind I was able to figure it out. The anti virus was preventing it when it has never prevented it before for some reason.

You can setup exclusions in MBAM to exclude AV directory.

And you can setup exclusion in AV to respect MBAM.

I find it's worth doing even if a current version of either is not blocking the other.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware works well and should run alongside other antivirus software without problems. However, in some rare instances, you may need to add exclusions for both the anti-virus and Malwarebytes in their respective exclusions list to resolve problems and achieve the best possible system performance.

Yeah it was odd because I've installed Malwarebytes before with the current anti-virus and it's had no problem up until yesterday when I had to turn it off. It was weird because it gave me no error or any kind of notification that it was blocking it which is why I never thought of it until after I created the thread.
