I just got a new video card. XFXforce GeForce 6800 AGP 4x/8x

It putin and didnt give it a power supply. so it just started ringing like a really high pitched ring. Real high.

So I shut the computer off, gave it a power supply, solvedth ringing but I still had no signal. (my monitor was working on my previous card, which was a NVidia GeForce FX5500) Also the cooling fan was not working.

My specs are

ECS 865PE-A (V2.0) with an AGP slot

Intel 3.0 GHz

300W power supply

please someone help
