Okay so i got hacked recently to the point where i couldnt even boot my computer up, it said missing ntdlr or somethin like that. So i formated in Recovery, well now i wonna Install windows everything goes well up to the part where it should let you choose a partition, i have deleted the one in the recovery page, and made a new one, and idk everytime i get to where it should let u choose a partition it says its an invalid disk wich i dont see why it says that because this is the real windows xp home disk so

OK i figured it out it's an upgrade disk wich means i need windows 98, anybody got the install for it?

You may need to do a COMPLETE format, delete all partitions and format the drive, after you do that re-install your operating system.

Since you have an upgrade disk do you have any other form of windows that you own?

OK so i think my comp maybe a paper weight in recovery on the windows disk it says unremovable data when i press chkdsk /r err it says like Unremovable errors or something
and thats after i deleted all partitions

When you re-install choose the second of the two format options, not the 'quick format'.

Is this a name brand computer or is it custom made?

Some name brand computers have a hidden restore partition on the hard drive which is accessed by pressing a key before Windows starts - look at the bottom of the screen while bios is posting.
