AMD Radeon R7 200 Series

Realtek High Definition Audio

I've tried Microsoft Wireless Desktop 2000, also Logitech MK345 Mouse and Keyboard and one thing I *do* know is that it's not caused by the keyboard **or** the mouse. At first I thought it was my keyboard/mouse that was at fault, so I bought a new set but I'm still experiencing the same problems as before.

Every once in a while, for no apparent reason, the keyboard will lag horribly. When I go to type something, either nothing happens or I get a jumble of text because it skips some of the letters inputted.

With the mouse, well sometimes it cuts in and out and lags across the screen.

These problems do not happen all the time, only now and then.

I have tried the FMAPP.exe "fix" I read about online, but even though I have Realtek Audio, I can't find that file on my PC. Also tried disabling Cortana temporarily (which apparently works for some people) but nothing changed.

Open up Task Manager to the More Details version and click on the Processes tab.
Then click on the CPU column to sort by that.

Leave this open and visible on your Desktop and wait for the mouse/keyboard to lag.

If this is a CPU problem, you'll see what's hogging the CPU in the Name column (as it rises to the top).
If it's not the CPU, then you'll see one of the other columns jump up with high %'s - so then you try it with that column (and click on it to sort by that column).

Or, you can click on the Perfomance tab, then on the Resource Monitor link at the bottom.

Then you can view the different resources there when the keyboard/mouse starts to lag.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
