Hello,

I recently replaced an old XP PC with a Dell E6230 (Windows 7) laptop plugged into an K07A e-port docking station. The two monitors that I had connected to old PC worked fine (one VGA and one DVI). I now have the same monitors plugged into the same docking station in the same way but only the DVI monitor displays anything. On the VGA monitor it just flickers '1: Analog Input, Cannot Display This Video Mode)

I've tried; updating the graphics drivers, changing the screen resolution, a different cable and a different screen but nothing fixes it.

Any idea please?

  1. Close all open programs.
  2. Right-click an empty area on your desktop, and then click Screen Resolution.
  3. Click the Multiple Displays drop-down list, and then select Extend These Displays or Duplicate These Displays.

Did you try the duplicate option?

Do you have this plugged into a USB 3 port?

Not the display, the connection to the docking station.

I'm not sure which connection you mean but there is no USB 3 port on the laptop or the docking station
