One can install a security and protection product in Windows, and if later wants to remove it to put on another one, he must uninstall, and run a dedicated removal tool to finish completely removing any remainders, before installing the new product.  Is something like this also necessary in Android operating systems for a smartphone?   As example, if I install some Norton protection APP., work with it a few weeks, and then decide to try  some Avast APP, do I need to both UNINSTALL, and then run some removal tool for the Norton, restart, before running the INSTALL for the new Avast APP?
