This started about a couple months ago. I got the webpage "search.protectedio" as my homepage out of nowhere, and I couldn't find a way to get rid of it. And now it appears I have a backdoor.agent. I tried all sorts of ways to keep it from messing up my homepage, but none of it seemed to work. Soon, I figured out that I could stop this webpage from setting itself, by putting the google properties to "Read Only". This fixed the problem, and for a short while I thought it was fine. I even scanned my pc with AdwCleaner, and Malwarebytes, which had supposedly remove it all. That is, when I scanned again the next day, it was all there. I can't begin to think of how many times I have removed these registry keys/data, and as such, I can't seem to fully get rid of these pups.

Here's a AdwCleaner log, and a Malwarebytes log.

I wasn't able to get the log for malwarebytes, but It found all the same things, only it found gpupd57473f270.exe, which is a Backdoor Agent detected as Malware. I am going to remove all the detected things again, but mark my words, they won't be gone for long. (Excluding The Backdoor Agent) Any Help is appreciated.

First of all, Amazon 1 button app wasn't a removable application when I looked for it. I couldn't find it. Second of all, is it normal for FRST to freeze the computer and not the mouse when clicking the "fix" button? I had to do a hard reset instead of shutting the computer down normally. I scanned the computer with adw cleaner, and all that is left are these repetitive registry keys:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\SecureWebChannel

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\A-Z Apps

It's not normal for the Farbar tool to freeze.

I noticed that the report does not show that the Temp files were cleaned.
May be that there were too many files to remove.

Please just run the tool again with these 2 commands.

Press the windows key Windows_Logo_key.gif+ r on your keyboard at the same time. This will open the RUN BOX.
Type Notepad and and click the OK key.
Please copy the entire contents of the code box below to the a new file.

One thing I forgot to mention, GFACE is a free game made by crytech; I did install this, it is not a malicious program. I just scanned the computer with Adwcleaner, and it found no malicious programs. I would suggest to keep this topic open for a day or two, just in case any of them come back so I can let you know.

I just scanned with Adwcleaner a couple hours later, and it still hasn't found any malicious programs. I'm guessing this worked. Thanks!
