I just upgraded my friends Windows 7 to Windows 10. Prior to that I had to do at least 4 recoveries to the way the computer came from the factory.

My question is this: Is there a way to put Windows 10 on to that recovery partition? otherwise in case none of the restore points would solve a severe problem she would end up going back to Windows 7 which probably will not be supported much longer.

Hi,

If Windows 10 is working properly I suggest you create a Full Image Backup to an external Hard drive using for example the free Macrium Reflect

There is a guide available here: http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/345434-macrium-reflect-imaging-tool/ and the Macrium website have a lot of tutorials.
