Hello. I was browsing a website, and all of a sudden I get hit with this Interpol virus or w/e it is. I could not close the browser, so I had to ctrl+alt+del to close the browser process. Please, how do I disinfect my pc? I am running windows 8.1. Thank you for the help.

Start your browser, in which it was.

If interpol-screen is repeated, take a screenshot.

Attach a screenshot to post - to specialists saw him.

Sounds more like a scam than anything else, especially since closing the browser finally made it go away. You may want to read this discussion topic.
