HitmanPro [pay-for version] operations simplified:

Settings - Default Action - I recommend Ignore [not Delete]

Recommend scheduled scan: Default Scan or Quick Scan.   Early Warning Scoring will take too long.

With Default Action of Ignore, one can go through the scan results and click Delete on any/every-thing one KNOWS to be a PUP or malware or un-wanted item.


Make sure you have restorable OS partition backups if you insist on running HitmanPro Delete-Default, 'cause you will very likely be reaching for them.  Especially using Delete-Default Early Warning Scoring scan.
