My 2012 macbook pro runs slowly,i mean really crawling.
I replaced the HDD and RAM still no dice.
Took me 3 hours to install lion.
But I can install Linux mint in 15 minutes and it runs fine.
Can't understand what's going on never seen this before.
Ram is fine, so is the HDD apps crash when I try to open then but under Linux everything works great. Any help would be appreciated.
I thought about bad logic board but if it can run Linux it probably isn't. Confused

How are you installing Lion? A disc or USB disk? From the recovery disk partition? Or downloading from the Internet Recovery option?

My first thought is that maybe your Lion install is corrupted.
