Hey awesome nerds/geeks.

I recently reinstalled Windows 7 on my M17XR4, cos the Windows 10 update just #$%%$ my laptop up. Anyway, everything seems to be working quite well, as good as before. Just that, my fans don't seem to be running or even visible under apps like SpeedFan etc.

I tried to update my BIOS, but it just doesn't update. Any idea on what I gotta do next guys? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Peace!

P.S. Attached a screenshot of what I'm facing when tryna update the BIOS. I click OK, and the same thing just keeps popping up. *shakes head*

You should be able to either hear the fan through the vent/s or feel the air being moved out of the case through the vent if the fan is running.

As for flashing the BIOS, did you have the power adapter connected when you attempted the upgrade?
