Greetings segue! and :welcome:  to BleepingComputer, my name is loki and I will be helping you today.

  • Please follow my directions exactly as they are posted and in the order they are posted so that I can best help you. If you do not understand something please don't hesitate to let me know with a reply to this thread.
  • Please do not run any other scans or tools or install any new programs while I am helping you, as doing so might confuse me and slow down the cleaning process while I'm trying to help fix your computer.
  • Please backup all important files that cannot be replaced if possible. Fixes sometimes do not go as planned and losing important files can be a painful experience.
  • If I do not respond to your post within 48 hours please send me a PM.

Lets get started :thumbup2:

Please explain if you are able to log into your computer at all or if the Windows Validation lock screen is preventing you from accessing anything? If you are not able to access the computer I can assume you are posting to the this thread from a phone or another computer?

Is this the guide you are referring to: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-fake-windows-activation

If so, could you please explain what step you are experiencing "internal server error"?

Thanks,

loki

Hi segue,

Also, if you could let me know what version of Windows you are currently running and if you have attempted to boot into safe mode as the guide suggests?

Thanks,

loki
