Netflix not working on Windows 10?

Warning... Slightly technologically challenged here! Hahaha. Purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 100s recently for my daughter. Was told by the salesperson it was perfect for all she does on it- watch netflix. First day it worked perfectly. Streamed videos no problems. Now, whenever she tries to watch anything on Netflix either through the ap or browser the video seems to show a few scenes in like a flash sequence. It then either pauses on a scene or a black screen for a few seconds then resumes playing. Otherwise the playing is okay, a little jumpy but still watchable. The problem is when streaming on netflix this issue is happening at least every few minutes. The audio continues perfectly, even whilst the screen is either frozen or black. Watching videos, even ones in HD elsewhere i.e youtube work perfectly fine. Any ideas, hopefully relatively simple, that might help? Have tried uninstalling the netflix app. Thanks in advance
