My friend's laptop throughout the day the internet connection gets slower. All other pc's in the house are fine. It's just their laptop. After a reboot speedtest will come back at 170mb/s then by the end of the night it's down to 9mb/s. If they reboot the computer it goes back up to 170mb/s. I have gone over the services that are running and can't find anything out of the ordinary. We've reinstalled the network drivers (wireless and wired) and we still get the same issue. I've checked the modem to make sure there were no QoS rules and all of that was clear. I'm at a loss.

Laptop specs:

Alienware m15x

core i7

windows 7

amd mobility radeon 5850
