There is no problem with loading Deviantart web site:

http://rainmeter.deviantart.com/gallery/23941137/Skins

However, I cannot download any skins from there since 3-4 days. I always get "No connection" error when attempting to download a skin. Tried several browsers and DNS settings. Still nothing. Anyone with same behaviour or some info about that?

I have no issue downloading it from Vivaldi or Firefox. You are clicking the button above "More from (user)" right?

Yes, exactly there. Maybe a local problem. But why and how? Don't understand it. Never got such thing before.

Are you able to download other things in deviantart through that button?

Not a single file from the whole gallery! Maybe, I would say the links are blocked somehow, but why not the entire web site and download links only?

If you use them, try disabling any add-ons/extensions you use and enable cookies. I use several add-ons in FF and they can cause occasional problems with web sites including Deviantart.

http://customize.org/rainmeter also has rainmeter skins.

Disabling add-ons doesn't help (Adblock Plus and PrintFriendly). Never got this problem before with more add-ons. Cookies are already accepted.

No problem with customize.org. However I want to install some weather skins with non-Yahoo API, because Yahoo based ones don't work anymore. I couldn't find these skins on customize.org.

Browsers I tried: IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, QtWeb, both at home and at office. Always the same: Connection closed. What a stupid problem.

UPDATE: Finally I was able to download skins I needed. Using the following service:

http://hideme.be/

(I didn't know that I could download anything using these anonymous surfing services. Unfortunately this is a temporary solution only.)

I just now noticed that the homepage doesn't work too:

http://www.deviantart.com/

I always was using that link to download my skins:

http://rainmeter.deviantart.com/gallery/

Maybe the government blocked that website. Waiting for news from my son living in another city.

What a shame if that's the case.

My son says, he doesn't get any problems neither with downloading skins nor with deviantart homepage. A weird problem!

No, I don't think so. Deviantart seems to be blocked in my country for some reason. Read some news about it. I also tried to access it using computers of my friends. No success. Don't know how my son can get there without any problems, both on computer and smart phone.

Well if your behind the "great firewall" -not that China is the only Country blocking access to certain sites- you could try this;

Well, it seems there is no problem in China with Deviantart. :)

I made some tests with friends from different cities. They haven't any problems regarding Deviantart. Could be that local ISP here forgot to remove the temporary blockage for Deviantart. I'll contact them.
