This morning my pc wont boot into windows. Get the Windows error recovery screen.

None of the options will complete, ie. safe mode, repair your computer etc...

I do not have a windows 7 recovery disk, but do have access to other computers with windows 7.

Help!

Do you have a Windows 7 installation disc for this version of Windows?

You can download Windows 8.1 media install using the Media Creation Tool

So dell.com using the service code says it came with windows 8.

It did not it def has windows 7 pro. I do not have the nec disk.

I went on another pc with windows 7 and made a recovery cd.

Insert the cd in the infected computer and boot from cd drive. Tried all of the options available on the recovery cd and none will work.

If this computer has Windows 8 installed the Windows 7 recovery CD will not work on this computer.

The version of the computer you use to create the recovery disk must be the same version you have installed.
