These started occurring last Wednesday. I tried many things to fix it, but none worked. These included trying to update drivers in safe mode and trying to refresh the system, but neither of these could be done successfully. I ran a MemTest but it found 0 errors. I have had 2 BSODs in Safe Mode, but the vast majority occurred normally or when trying to boot up.

The File Collection zip is posted, but I got an error saying "

An error occured while attempting to generate the report.

The system cannot find the path specified"

For the other one.

· OS - Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista ? Windows 10
· x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64-bit
· What was original installed OS on system? Windows 8.1
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? OEM
· Age of system (hardware) 1 year
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? No, other than installing Windows 10

· CPU - Intel Core i7 5500u @ 2.40 Ghz
· Video Card - AMD Radeon R9 M275 and Intel HD Graphics 5000
· MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop)
· Power Supply - brand & wattage (skip if laptop)

· System Manufacturer - Lenovo
· Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom) - Y40-80

· Laptop or Desktop? Laptop

Right now, I am hesitant to run the Driver Verifier as if it does blue screen, I would end up in normal mode and possibly end up in a reboot loop. I have had intermittent problems where the laptop doesn't turn on for a while in some cases after restarting or especially turning it completely off. I also don't have a CD drive for HDD Diagnostics to run in.

Doing anything involving rebooting will be tough as my computer is unstable in normal mode and frequently blue screens. I also run the risk of it completely freezing up for anywhere between 1 and 6 hours.

The computer is no longer normally unstable, but I still would like to resolve the issue. Replying to myself to make sure people who need help more can get it.

You have another post here:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/614120/laptop-wont-recognize-my-amd-graphics-card/

Where did you get the new AMD graphics drivers from?  If from AMD or from Windows Update, they may not have the particular software that Lenovo drivers require.
Try installing the video drivers from Lenovo and see if that helps.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version V2.00) dates from 2015.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  This is just in case there has been a recent update.

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.  The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

These devices have problems in Device Manager:

Lenovo Settings    ROOT\SYSTEM\0002    This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.
Lenovo Settings Camera Audio    ROOT\SYSTEM\0003    This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.
DDP UMDF Driver    ROOT\SYSTEM\0004    This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.
Lenovo Primary iM Controller    ROOT\SYSTEM\0005    This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.

Please uninstall the Lenovo Settings application and the Lenovo IM controller.  If you wish to use the features that these programs provide, please download and install the latest, W10 compatible version from the Lenovo website.

Indications are that the DDP UMDF driver is a part of the Settings software - so that may help.  Otherwise, try uninstalling the Audio drivers for your system, then download and install a fresh, W10 compatible version.

Lot's of Skype and Windows Messaging errors.  Try uninstalling/reinstalling those apps also.

Please uninstall the Pinnacle Studio's Marvin Bus program

The MarvinBus64.sys driver dates from 2005 and is likely not compatible w/W10.

If unable to uninstall it, please post back for suggestions on how to remove it manually.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

I have found the right drivers and installed them. The only BIOS update available is for Windows 8.1, so I will just keep my current one. Also did the Windows Updates, so that may have helped solve the problem.

Uninstalled everything you told me to, and this fixed the problem. Thanks!
