So when playing CsGo it will randomly just minimise to the desktop,I catch a glimpse of what appears to be a command promt box for less than a second just after the game minimises .

I really need to figure out what is trying to take Front end control and doing this .

Is there a program or some way of me seeing what is causing my game to minimise  ?

It never used to happen , But since installing Kaspersky internet security it has started happening , When i first installed Kaspersky it was fine but i think it may be the culprit .

However i do "pause" protection just before launching CsGo so maybe it is not Kaspersky at all .

I really need to find out what is causing it .

Many thanks for reading

Daniel

Most likely it's another program that steals "focus" from the game.

For hints, I'd check the Application logfile of Event Viewer immediately after this happens.

But, as you've associated the problem with the installation of Kaspersky, I'd suggest first uninstalling it (and enabling Windows Defender and the Windows firewall) and seeing it that helps.

If it does, post over in the Security forums for assistance in locating the function that's causing this.

Well, that's sort of a judgement call.

What you're looking for is a program that did something around the time that the focus was stolen from the game.

It's crucial that you do this ASAP - as the entries in the logfile will pile up and it'll make it difficult to sort through them.

Once you have a list of suspects, you disable them one by one (or in small groups) to see which one is the actual culprit.

Then you run the game and see if focus is stolen when they are disabled.
