I had Adobe Acrobat 9 installed in my Windows 7 Starter PC, english version.and it worked fne. Later I installed a Windows 7 Ultimate version  but in spanish so it was neccesary to delete all installed programs. After the Ultimate installation I have tried to reinstall my Adobe but version XI but it has been impossible as the installer does not work. What can I do for installing this new Adobe version?. Thanks in advance.

Could you install other programs? If non of them works, it could be a registry corruption. You can try the following FixIt:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2688326

EDIT: Or maybe just right click the file-->Properties-->Unblock

What version of Acrobat XI are you trying to install, the Pro or Standard version?

Are you using the Multilingual User Interface settings?
