What version of Windows are you using? What actually happens when you try to update?

WINDOWS 7 64 BIT:  AFTER I SELECT WIN UPDATE, I ATTEMPT TO DOWNLOAD, BUT IT DOES NOT DOWNLOAD

If this is for the May Updates then download this update first then try a manual update. You may need to reboot the computer to install the update.
