Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis:  http://omgdebugging.com/bsod-inspector/
When done a Notepad document will open with the name of the file and it's location. (By default it'll be a .zip file located on your Desktop)
Simply upload the .zip file with your next post and we'll move on from there.

If it doesn't work for you, then please try this:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

While waiting for a reply, please run the rest of these diagnostics (skip the MemTest and Prime95 as you've already done them):  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Only 285 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most systems with SP1 have 300-400 or more.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

These devices have problems in Device Manager:

USB-styrenhet (Universal Serial Bus)    PCI\VEN_1B21&DEV_1242&SUBSYS_50071458&REV_00\4&1C6F5F04&0&00E0    The drivers for this device are not installed.
Standardtangentbord - PS/2    ACPI\PNP0303\0    This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
Microsoft PS/2 Mouse    ACPI\PNP0F03\0    This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

The first item is your ASMedia XHCI 1.1 Controller - please visit the manufacturer's website to download and install the latest compatible drivers for this device on your system.

The second item appears to be that your keyboard is missing.  I presume that you would have noticed this, so I wonder if it's the PS2 keyboard that's missing and you're using a USB keyboard.  Is that the case here?

The third item is a PS2 mouse.  If using a USB mouse this error is safe to ignore.

Many, many Live Kernel Events.

Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on the "Administrative Events" heading
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Riva Tuner (along with MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys).  Please un-install them immediately!

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting.  Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

The memory dump errors seem to be related to the ASMedia XHCI 1.1 Controller device that I mentioned in the Device Manager paragraph

Please be sure to get the drivers for this device as that will likely fix this problem.

:

Beyond this, if the BSOD's continye, I have these 4 suggestions:
1.  Get ALL available Windows Updates.  It may take several trips to get them all
2.  Get ALL available, compatible updates for your OS from the manufacturer's website (to include BIOS/UEFI).
3.  Start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
4.  If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

If you have all updates and no errors - then that's all that you can do.

Have you finished the rest of the hardware diagnostics?  If so, please let us know the results.

If not, please run all of them as this still has potential to be a hardware error.

Most of the entries in the Admin event log are either Peer Networking or Peer Name Resolution errors

As there's freezing in several games, I wouldn't think that the Peer stuff was contributing to it.

As such, please also try these things (in this order, as needed):

- System Restore to a point before the problem started happening.

- DISM/SFC (see quote box below)

- RESET using the Keep My Files Option

- Repair Install of W10:  https://www.winhelp.us/non-destructive-reinstall-of-windows-8-and-8-1.html

- Backup your data and perform a RESET using the Remove Everything option.

This is the things to do for DISM/SFC:

Then please run the following DISM commands to see if there's any problems with the system (from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt).  Press Enter after each one:

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

FYI - I have repaired systems using the last command even though problems weren't found with the first 2 - so I suggest running them all.

From this article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824869.aspx

You can also run sfc.exe /scannow from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt to check for further corruption.

Only the first (scanhealth) of those 3 commands worked. Got Error 87 saying that the option/action is not recognizeable (roughly translated from swedish)

Also, im using a copy of windows 7 and has never upgraded to 8 or 10.

My last try before reformatting/restoring the computer consists of:

1. DRAM Voltage upped from 1.2 to 1.26

2. Playing on integrated GPU.

My mistake on the DISM stuff - it's for W8 and above (doesn't work on W7)

Did the SFC.EXE command work?

Have you reformatted/restored the computer?

If so, please wait for another freeze.  Then, when the system recovers, let's try looking at these 2 sets of reports:

1)  Please run this report collecting tool (even though you may not be reporting BSOD's) so we can provide a complete analysis:  http://omgdebugging.com/bsod-inspector/
When done a Notepad document will open with the name of the file and it's location.
By default it'll be a .zip file located on your Desktop
Simply upload the .zip file with your next post and we'll move on from there.
If it doesn't work for you, then please try this:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

2)  Please do the following:

About 1 week has passed without a single freeze.

Then i guess it must be:

1. DRAM Voltage (i will drop this to STOCK in a couple of days)

2. GPU Defect

3. AMD Drivers buggy

4. PCI-Slot broken

The three last reasons will be confirmed once i get my hands on the new GTX 1070. I think im onto something!!

What do you think?

My bets are on a bad video card or a broken slot.

This presumes that you've tried fresh copies of the video drivers.

okay so i basically have never had anymore freezes... and i got a new GTX 1070 and still no freezes for 3 days since i got that card. so for more than 1 month the PC has been fine.. i may have had 1 freeze and i think it was because of an IPHONE/IPOD charging on my USB.

to anyone out there wondering, i think it had something to do with my R9 390 card or AMD-drivers.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with my GTX 1070. I get occasional freezes while playing BF4. The computer just freezes out of the blue, the only solution is to do a hard reboot.

My specs:

Gigabyte Z170 Sniper

I7 6700K @ stock - never overclocked

16GB DDR4 2133

GTX 1070 Palit Super JetStream

RME HDSP 9632 sound card

Corsair CX600 PSU

2 SSDs 240&120GB

Corsair K30 keyboard

Logitech g602 mouse

Philips 27" 144Hz 1920x1080 monitor

I've done fresh installs of Windows 10 Professional 64bit, reinstalled/rolled back Nvidia drivers (currently on 372.70, tried 368.39 too). All my other drivers are up to date (have checked with DriverBooster3). No problems with cpu/gpu temps at all.

I am helpless at the moment. I feel like I've tried everything to solve the problem, yet I got another complete freeze today.

Would really appreciate any help.

Thanks
