Which type of program are you trying install x64 or x86. Your system is 32-bit so you install x86 based program or upgrade your system to windows 7 64-bit.
To achieve something first try

what happens when you try to install a program on your computer? it is more than likely NOT hardware as it is more than likely a software or malware preventing the program from installing

since I see you have vista I recommend doing this, turn pc off, turn pc on, while booting press f8 multiple times, select safe mode , try to install the program that will not install, if it works it is malware preventing the program from being installed

Thank you all for helping. I tried safe mode, but the program won'T start still.

 you can see the first intervention with the maleware team here :

 http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/605618/cant-instal-antivirus-ccleaner-flash-silverlight-etc-vista-32-bits/

all the infos of what we did with the PC and why I am here today.

 The program I tried is flashplayer20_ha_install, defraggler, Ccleaner, a recent BitDefender I bought, and many programs the maleware team asked me to run wouln't start either, such as Zemana, Rogue Killer, Winrar, couldn't run Tweaking but now seems to work... and others..

Consider this only as an absolute last resort, after everything else has failed.  Formatting is akin to scorch-earth policy.

No I don't have the intallation disk, got no disk at all, no need for recovery, I have no important personal files I need to recover ;
I'm 50.9 GB / 74.5 GB local C ;

I ve installed SP1 and update ;

I don't know enough to know what tweaking means or its implications, I just want to be safe and able to install programs like everybody else. You know...

Thank you.

Click on All Programs and Accessories

Right click on Command Prompt, then click on Run as administrator.

Click on Continue in the UAC prompt.

When the Command Prompt opens type in sfc /scannow, then press Enter

To find the sfc /scannow log open the C: drive, click on Windows, click on Logs, click on CBS.

I don't manage to translate Command prompts, and cannot find "UAC" "promt" in french as my menu is french and everything...
 I usually manage to find my way, but can't seem to find the path to follow your instructions.
