Is this a dual boot machine?

If yes what operating system has it got?

What version of Linux are you trying to install.

Where are you installing grub?

The more info you give the better we can help you.

(UEFI settings,

Is UEFI on or not?

Did you try to boot any of the operating systems you installed, before you installed them?
