Cheap ssd?

Well if you saw my old post, you would know my hard drive is failing, the story is that some sectors are probably damaged and may need to replace my hard drive for a new one, but im thinking about a ssd,

what cheap ssds would you recommend above 320 GB

my budget is 30-50 dollars


Don't even think about it if your not sure

The answer is none.  Present day SSDs come in 120GB, 240/250GB, 500GB, etc.  That means you want a 500GB one.  Even if you go for an el cheapo, almost unknown brand, 500GB SSD like this one, it'll run you $102.

no kidding :P ...stick to HDDs or triple the budget

 I've seen 240 GB PNY SSDs for $60, if you could get by with that, but the 500 GB ones are definitely out of your price range as others have said.

Make regular full system backups or you'll be sorry sooner or later.
