Laptop suggestion for programming

I use programs like android studio, eclipse, intelji idea. Not graphical. And i dont want OS. i will use linux probably. I also want free ram slots so that i can add rams in future.  And i am not sure about other specs.

What brand do you suggest? I want to use laptop for at least 3-4 years.

from here can you choose some laptops maximum  £ 2000?  £ is not true, it must be turkish money but google translate translated to  £

Or you can give suggestions from other sites or only specifications. Maximum around 700 dollars.

My Dell laptop works fine for 8 years. In my opinion, this is one of the best laptops.

Laptops, except for high end come with only two RAM slots.  One or both (likely) may be occupied.

Some netbooks come with a single slot or soldered in RAM.  I'd avoid them.  They tend to be crippled in many other ways as well.

So I would look for a Dell, HP, ASUS or Lenovo laptop.  If you want one that will last 3-4 years use one option is to look for a used 1 yr old laptop to get more bang for your dollar or a new laptop from a factory outlet (make sure it carries the full 1 yr mfg. warranty).   I would want a laptop that had the ability to support at least 8GB of RAM.

I like CPU speeds in laptops in excess of 2GHz, dual core.  I prefer 15" screens.  Full sized keyboards.

I'd want a 64bit OS capability.  You are very unlikely to find a laptop sold without an Windows OS.

Here are some ideas:
