So, I've done a lot of research and have put many things to the test. To explain the situation, my computer would freeze up sometimes and I'd have to clear my CMOS a few times now to make it work. It hasn't worked at all this time. I was slapping a moth on my computer and I was in a game of "Overwatch" in which the computer froze and has not  turned on since.

Things I've tried:

Clearing CMOS

Plugging in just the power for the motherboard and fans will show the fans run for about 4 seconds, switch off, then turn on until I turn it off again.

Pluggin in the monitor to the motherboard will show nothing.

No beeps regardless of what is and is not plugged in.

Lights on the motherboard will display at all times.

Tried having 1 stick of ram or switching ram around.

Tried cleaning CPU / placing CPU back in (Which I think is the right way (arrow pointing towards the square on the motherboard) This was one of the last things I tried.

The current result is often being able to turn on the "computer" and it will stall for a moment and then the fans will run for until I turn it off.

That's most of the things I've tried. A few things missing that I probably don't remember. I don't have any fancy gadgets or things to help me test anything. Regardless, thank you for anyone who can help.

GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130787

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151102

I was thinking about getting a SSD, motherboard, and GPU. Thoughts?

Again, thanks in advanced.

New stuff is always good - but do you know that the problem is due to one of those (otherwise you'll have nice new stuff that still doesn't work :(

You may want to give this checklist a try:  http://www.carrona.org/strpdown.html

I'd also suggest posting over in the Internal Hardware forums, where the hardware guru's hang out:    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/7/internal-hardware/

Well, no, I don't. That's why I didn't just buy them and I'm posting here. I'll throw a copy paste over there, thanks.

EDIT: Also, I just tried to follow that checklist but I'm not going to be able to do anything if I can't boot my system...

Then I'd rely on the advice from those over in the Internal Hardware forums.

Good luck!
