I have set up in the appropriate Gmail settings to do this and was working OK, well, for some time back.
I noticed that I wasn't getting any mail from that account so checked that setting which seemed OK. I clicked Check for mail now and got nothing and then History which showed nothing for the past week. I thought that perhaps that provider had stopped POP 3 for it.
So I sent a test email to that address from a completely different account I have which popped up immediately in my Gmail inbox, wonderful!
Going back to Gmail settings I checked again that account History which again said there was nothing!
Also I went to that actual account via webmail and found 2000 messages filling my quota! Luckily not important.
What has happened here? Please advise - thanks,
