· OS - Windows 10
· x64
· Original installed OS on system: Windows 8.
· OS is an OEM version - full retail version
· Age of system (hardware): No more than a year on all components
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS?: OS installed about a year ago. I have not re-installed the OS.

· CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-5700HQ CPU @ 2.70GHz
· Video Card: Geforce GTX 970m, Intel® HD Graphics 5600.

· System Manufacturer: MSI
· Exact model number: GS60 2QE-606USK-1506000045

· Laptop

Additional Information:

My laptop seems to crash occasionally when playing CS:GO. I also seem to be suffering from consistent hitching or lag that is not caused by ping or fps (my ping is always below 50, and my fps is almost always above 120. I have my Nvidia drivers up to date, and I've lowered my game settings significantly as well as reduced the clock of my Nvidia GPU to no avail. I would really appreciate the help, as I would rather not have to send away my laptop for several weeks to be fixed by MSI if it is unnecessary.

Sorry, but I don't use mediafire because of their attempts to extort a membership out of you.

I cannot download multiple files, and refuse to download 4 different files - one at a time.

Please either zip them all together into one file (so MediaFire will let me download it), or (the simpler option) just zip them up and upload them here.

Thanks!

PS - you can leave the PERFMON report out, as I don't normally use it.

Thanks!

No memory dumps in the month of April.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version E16H5IMS.506) dates from 2015.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  This is just in case there has been a recent update.

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.  The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

This looks to be a compatibility issue, or a low-level hardware driver.

Let's start with the NTIOLib_x64.sys driver.  It's known to cause BSOD's on some systems, and the program associated with it should be uninstalled:

In this case it belongs to: C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\SUPER CHARGER\NTIOLib_X64.sys

Please uninstall the MSI Super Charger application.

Next is winio64.sys - a part of the MSI Dragoon Gaming Center.
Please uninstall that also.

This is not all of the stuff, but it's the most likely to be causing problems.

If the BSOD's continue, please run Driver Verifier according to these directions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html
