Hello,

I am not sure if I have a computer infected with a varient of Teslacrypt but it is some form of Ransomware. All of the videos and images are missing and there are many files that spam me with white text on a black screen. The message tells me how my data has been encrypted and how I need to connect to some Tor site and pay them for the key. There are a lot of files names +REcovER+bkqrv+.png and +REcovER+plkvw+.txt.  Can someone please let me know what I am dealing with and if there is a way to decrypt the data?

Thanks

I already replied to you here. Rather than have everyone with individual topics, it would be best (and more manageable for staff) if you posted any more questions, comments or requests for assistance in the support topic I referred you to.To avoid unnecessary confusion, this topic is closed.

Thanks
