On my older Asus router there was a switch on the side of the unit that shut off the WiFi radio which we did every night.

I just got a new Airport Extreme, Time Capsule and I was wondering if there was a way to shut off the wireless so that the radio won't transmit or receive at night? I know there is a function to disable the internet at night, but I still can see the base station (just not connect to it) so I know the radio still is on.

How do I shut it off at night or on a schedule minus unplugging it from the wall?

Is this your thread too? https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7548433

Either way, it appears the answer is 'no'. I would simply flip the switch on the router... it's quite safe.
