Hello, I've been having this issue lately where I've been noticing short but noticeable FPS drops so I've turned on the FPS counter and also some in-game graphs to monitor my cpu and gpu usage and see how that would go while gaming and I'm getting some fps drops along with my GPU/CPU spiking up and going back down and it's just becoming something that is irritating and making gaming less enjoyable for me as I'm used to smooth gameplay and not any FPS drops what so ever.
I've tried some solutions:
> cleaning out my PC completely
> unparked CPU
> reformatted and did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro x64
>clean install of GPU drivers via DDU software to make sure it's a completely clean install.
>installed latest chipset and sound drivers and network drivers
>clean boot to see if any background programs are interfering
>disabled all startup programs
GPU: MSI GTX 970 4gb OC ( factory oc )
CPU i7 4770k 3.50 GHz
MB: B85-G41 PC Mate
PSU: 1000w PSU
Storage: x2 Samsung EVO 850 SSD's 500gb ( where i store my games ) and 250gb for my OS.
I've got the screenshots of the graph in-game for Battlefield 4 showing the spikes occuring along with some photos of my temps while gaming so those can be checked as well.. it doesn't appear to be overheating to me..
CPU/GPU spikes while in-game shown via graph: https://i.gyazo.com/7edf5861713200fbfec517e8f9150a66.png
during these spikes, i do get an fps drop and it does like a micro stutter of some sort and the audio sounds robotic.. figured i would add that.
EDIT: sorry if i didn't post the images properly.. i checked twice and I'm still unsure of how to attach them to the post.
