Hello all,

you guys have helped me out once before on a different topic and now I need some help once more.

I am repairing a computer that had windows 8 installed on it but it had a BSOD. Figured it would just be easier to install Windows 10 and i was hoping that would solve my issues.

Obviously that didnt work otherwise i wouldnt be here.

So to the issue now, I am getting the first BSOD when i go to boot up the computer with the error code of 0xc00021a. the computer then restarts and gives me a different error code of 0xc00001. from the second error code i am able to get into the BIOS/UEFI screen but the CD/DVD option occasionally shows up to try and repair the OS.

Any help would be greatly appreicated

The computer is an ASUS D550-DS01 laptop

Thanks in advance

Can you get into Windows?

If so, Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis:  http://omgdebugging.com/bsod-inspector/
When done a Notepad document will open with the name of the file and it's location. (By default it'll be a .zip file located on your Desktop)
Simply upload the .zip file with your next post and we'll move on from there.

If it doesn't work for you, then please try this:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

If you can't get into Windows, then please try these free, bootable hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
