i have noticed a black bar showed up under my task bar and the top right and left of my display are a little bit bigger than my monitor this has only been happening recently. I have an acer G276HL monitor and running windows 10. the second image attached is the right side of my monitor which cuts off some of my display and the first image is showing the black bar under my taskbar

That is most commonly the monitor needing to run its auto-position function, usually achieved by pressing one of the control buttons (which one varies from monitor to monitor). Sometimes it may be an option in the monitor's OSD.
