Hello,

I'm trying to trouble shoot a computer running Windows 7 on bootcamp on a 2011 27" iMac.

The computer constantly boots into Windows 7 Startup Repair, but it constantly says "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically."  The same thing happens if I try to boot into any Safe Mode option.  There are no restore points (uggg).

Here's the info from running diskpart from the command prompt:

Volume 0 D - DVD ROM

Volume 1 C BOOTCAMP NTFS Partition 902 GB Healthy

Volume 2 E No label/No Fs Removable 0B No Media

Any suggestions?

I have to say I am not sure if this is a Windows problem or a Mac one. If this was a Windows computer I would suggest creating a Windows repair disk, but I am not sure if that would work in this situation. On top of that I know very little about Macs, but Bootcamp is a type of VM ?

If that is the case you may have to uninstall and re-install windows.
