Hi -
I've got an HP Deskjet F-300 connected to a Dell Inspiron 660 PC Windows 7 and I recently bought a refurbished ink cartridge for it.  When I print directly from the printer - copying a page (PC off) - it works but if I print from a file on the PC it doesn't.
I never had that happen when I bought original HP ink cartridges and I am wondering if there is a setting that won't let me use refurbished ink cartridges.
Any thoughts to getting it to print?
Thank you.

No error messages from the unit??  Did you try going back to the old cartridge, even if it's empty??
