I recently had a laptop stolen and would like to install a tracker on my new one. Does anybody know the best free ones out there? I have heard of Prey but I do not know if it is any good.

I think Prey is the number one free option!

Frequently asked questions and support documentation for Prey.

I use it on a Windows laptop and when I test it (mark device as stolen) it's flawless...

Greets!

I guess you don't use full disk encryption on your laptops?
